About For That Geek

For That Geek is a small site of gift guides for the curious: people who build things, listen to the radio spectrum, look at the stars or just love a good gadget. It's run by the team behind kilaz.com (free online tools) and ICBizLabs.

How we pick, and how we earn

• We choose products by who they suit and what they do, based on the listing details and on what that kind of gadget is generally good for. We haven't personally tested every item, and we never publish made-up ratings or reviews.
• Links to products are affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It never changes what we say about a product.
• Products are sold and shipped by independent AliExpress sellers. Prices shown are what the listing showed when we last checked and can change at any time. Check the seller's rating, shipping time and return policy before you buy.

Privacy

No accounts, no newsletter pop-ups, no tracking cookies. When you click a product link it passes through a redirect that counts the click (without storing your IP address) and then sends you to AliExpress, where their own privacy policy applies. Our web server keeps standard access logs for security.
